Feasibility study: co-combustion sewage sludges and MSW

Study to ascertain the viability of disposing organic sludges from a nearby waste water treatment facility on the two lines of Cremona incineration facility. The solutions proposed by W.T.E. were tested on field.

W.T.E. indicated main benefits obtained from co-combustion of sewage sludges with MSW :

recovery of energy content of sewage sludges;

total sanification and final disposal of organic waste;

significant reduction of weight and volume of waste to landfill and reduction of costs.
